Cooking Classes and Traditional Market Tour at Swiss-Belinn Legian

BALI, IHGMA.com – Continuing its successful offer with an exclusive opportunity to take interactive Cooking Classes & Traditional Market Tour that began on 2015, Swiss-Belinn Legian invites all guest on casual & fun class with no previous cooking experience required. These activities will create more memorable experiences with some great special extras!

Your day starts early at 08:00 at the Legian markets, where you’ll be educated by our Chef about Balinese tastes and customs, local meat, fish, and produce to be used in your classes, finding unique ingredients and, of course, Balinese-style bargaining! Learn the secrets of buying fresh ingredients in a traditional market like what to select and what to reject. Touring a traditional outdoor market provides insight both into how Balinese people approach cooking and how many spend their day. These lessons are as important as those in the kitchen.

By 10:00, it’s time to get back to the hotel with all your freshly bought ingredients. But before classes begin, you will have a break to enjoy Chadis Rooftop Bar and Pool while sipping your favorite cocktails.  Soon after, you will start the class at 12:00, which come with clear step-by-step guides for reference. The class will be lead by Executive Chef – Komang Mustika who has over 10 years’ experience in the kitchen. He will share his original Indonesian/Balinese recipes and provide hands-on instruction, where class members involved will prepare all ingredients, beginning with an overview of the recipes then cook and to finish, Lunchtime is both a feast and an assessment session of your day at Cooking Class and enjoying the dish that you created.

Classes are IDR 400.000++ per person and include all ingredients, recipes, plenty of tasting, Lunch, Photograph during the action and Gift Certificate. Classes are limited to 6 people each session and advance reservations are necessary.
